My Background
I’m an inventive creator who has learned by experimenting. I love challenges. I love consistency. I’m ambitious. I’m empathetic.
Most of all, my work is impactful. I want to positively affect people’s lives. I seek— no, I live— for stories left undiscovered.

These women help run ‘Bonnies Basketball Now’ with myself and Jaeline Valdez. They’ve changed my career. I learn from them every day; I hope they learn from me, too.
Scripps National Spelling Bee
I found the National Spelling Bee’s College Crew via a Chip Mahaney Facebook post (Chip is a lead talent recruiter for The E.W. Scripps Company). A small voice in my head told me this was the opportunity of a lifetime. That mini-me was right.
Now, I’m on the Bee’s production staff under operations director Cybelle Weeks.
We’ve prioritized our team’s engagement with spellers and their families. That engagement has translated to amazing interactions and connections with everyone involved in the competition. Under Julia, Kimmie and my leadership, the College Crew received numerous messages of gratitude from speller families-- including the winner’s father, who told us advice from the College Crew propelled his son to the finals.
I am immensely proud in being a major component to what Corrie Loeffler, the Bee’s executive director, proclaimed the “best Bee in history.” Goosebumps. It’s not like we did anything special. We just worked as hard as we could for the spellers, many of whom had the best week of their young lives.
